![]() Check the Barnett crossbow review for further detail guidelines about this product It is lightweight and easy to carry around and has a very low shooting sound. The TS390 is another impressive crossbow from Barnett, which comes with an adjustable butt stock for better shouldering. The crossbows vary in size, shape, performance, and obviously in price.Įach crossbow is reviewed with detail & in-depth buyer guide because we can understand the hunting professionals will not compromise while experiencing hunting with a crossbow if it is not: Once you get yourself indulged in the bowhunting experience, there’s no way out of it. They are a fun and adventurous shooting weapon. Crossbows have been used by hunters and soldiers for centuries as a projectile weapon. They are used in a variety of recreational sports like archery and hunting. What is Crossbow?Ī Crossbow is basically an updated version of a bow and an arrow, with the bow perpendicularly fixed on a stock. If you have a little time, I suggest you check out the Comparison table and an individual review for each crossbow model below. Just 1 man's opinion but I don't see this bein positive in the end. These are the best crossbows available in 2022, but each crossbow has a different design, size, and loading mechanism, and more importantly, they come in different caliber and power. Somewhere is an idiot that just can't wait ta make a vid of him shootin a deer with his new Nerf crossbow, an another idiot who can't wait to show the vid to an idiot politician who can't wait to pass more restrictions to keep idiots from hurtin hurting themselves or others. Wasn't long ago folks had a fit over someone shootin a cat with a weapon that couldn't do the job the vet had to finish it. The DNR in most states already have laws that make this thing illegal to hunt with, an the ones that don't will, as soon as they see a vid of someone shootin a deer with one. I don't have a problem with this little "crossbow" per se, the problem is gullible people thinkin it's a real legitimate deer huntin weapon. Funny how ya never hear these 100 yard snipers crowin about the shots they miss or the deer they don't find. These kinds of "look at me" vids have some believin crossbows are rifles an ya can pick deer off at 100 yards. I don't know anyone who uses a tack hammer to drive fence posts. Yep, yer gointa hafta dig to find vids that show the realities of animals miamed, not recovered, and lingerin death from usin inappropriate weapons. I say who cares?įrom what little you shared, I am thankful that I don't live in Europe! I also don't judge guys who use a Ten Point Nitro 505 crossbow or Bat Pistol crossbow. Personally, I don't have a desire to hunt with a longbow, but I don't judge my friend who does. He still takes out new hunters getting into archery with their crossbows for the first time. He does numerous programs like "learn to hunt" for both spring turkey hunting & crossbow hunting for deer (even though he doesn't own a crossbow). Heck, he's even the chairman of our local CDAC (County Deer Advisory Council) & President of our local NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation). He may be the most ethical hunter I know. He also limits his shots to about 15 yards. Sometimes, he even uses cedar arrow shafts and flint stone broadheads. If a person knows the limits of their weapon, who are you to judge them? Seriously! I have a good friend who likes to hunt with traditional archery equipment. I don't see an idiot hunting in either clip. Sometimes, they drop quickly & other times they go way further than you imagine. I don't find this to be any different than anything that I have shot over the past 47 years of deer hunting. Both shots were complete pass through shots. ![]() One dropped within a few yards (clip is in my first post), and another one had to be tracked some distance before he found her (this second clip posted by someone else). I watched this same guy shoot two does with his Bat pistol crossbow.
